Season 2007/2008:Première: Sunday October 14th 2007 Youth theatre De Krakeling, Amsterdam
A show about the majesty in everyday experiences. Mimo is waiting, he has no idea for what. His head is bursting with memories. Fat memories, thin memories, quiet ones and noisy ones. He doesn't cherish them all. Some memories want to jump right out of his head. They are very intrusive. Mimo would like to give his memories a place so that he can finally make peace with his past. To achieve this, he embarks upon a journey. He is quickly transported to the land of his childhood. Here he leaves something behind. From this experience he also takes something away, a branch and a leaf here, a laugh and a few tears there.
In the show, the audience is swept along with Mimo on his poetical daydream. Will he be able to put his memories to rest? Mimo is a play by Carlos Lagoeiro, actor and artistic director from Teatro Munganga in collaboration with Marion Hoekveld, conceptual artist. One actor, lots of puppets, masks and music draw you into Mimo's world. It is a fusion of theatre and artistic composition in a performance without words. A play for everyone over 6.
