From augustus until november 2009  MUNGANGA has been traveling back in time to the XVII century with the project “The Route from Nassau”, based on  the performance ‘Stories  from overseas’.

In the Northern East of Brazil, MUNGANGA has performed 60 times in theatres and at important historical locations, like places of slave dealing and fortresses.
